About Mark J. Wegmann, M.D.
Dr. Wegmann received his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 2001. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at LSU as well. He has been practicing in Metairie since 2007. He is a member of several GI societies, including the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Wegmann practices at the Metairie office of Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates.

Since my Dr retired from.metro gastro I asked for another doctor and really like Dr Wegmann. He was the type of doctor I was used to and he didn't disappoint. He listened to me as best I could explain my situation. He examined me. Then he offered 2 solutions. Also when I had a question his nurse can answer. I will tell my friends if they need a great doctor please see him or one of the other doctors there
