Becky Lemann received her medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 2001. After completing her Internal Medicine Residency at LSU, she did a Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Lemann began practicing in Marrero in 2007. She is a member of several GI societies, including the American College of Gastroenterology, American Association for the Study of Liver Disease and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and she is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Lemann practices at the Uptown office of Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates.

Dr. Lehmann and her staff were professional and knowledgeable. They were caring, understanding and so I was less anxious about the procedure.
Dr Lemann is an exceptional doctor. She seems to remember my issues and always asks about not only current concerns but previous issues as well. I’m never uncomfortable talking with her about whatever GI issue I’m experiencing. She’s thorough, explains things well, answers all of my questions and I never feel rushed. I wish more doctors had her recall and “bedside” manner. I highly recommend Dr Lemann.

De. Lemann is great! She listens carefully and patiently, and she asks thoughtful questions. She makes helpful suggestions and, when appropriate, presents options. She is very respectful of a patient’s anxiety and offers reassurance. Just wish that it were easier to make an appointment with her, but it’s not her fault that she’s busy and in demand. Guess this is what comes with being a super doctor!!!
