About Charles G. Schibler, II, M.D.
Charles Schibler was born in New Orleans and received his medical degree from the LSU School of Medicine in 1992. He performed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at LSU from 1995 to 1997. Having received his Board Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine in 1996, he received his Board Certification in Gastroenterology in 1998. He was recognized as a professional with outstanding abilities and featured in the “Best Doctors” issue of New Orleans Magazine.
Dr. Schibler practices at the Westbank office of Metropolitan Gastroenterology Associates.

Really a wonderful doctor and staff
When I visited Dr. Schibbler’s new office, I was greeted by friendly staff and walked through any new processes that were available. When the nurse took my vitals I asked if there was lotion available. She was so sweet and came back with the best lotion for my diabetic dryness. I saw Dr. Schibbler and he explained something that I never knew existed. I’m glad that I was able to keep my appointment and schedule two procedures. I appreciate their expertise and timely fashion to get me through. I was finished early and was able to complete other tasks for that day.
