I started seeing Dr. Catinis a few years ago. There were issues with my liver. Dr. Catinis is the greatest. He’s very pleasant & easy to talk to. He talks to you & not at you. He listens to you. I would highly recommend Dr. Catinis.

The care and expertise of the physician is great! The process of trying to get a question answered before visit was time-consuming and not helpful. When I realized this visit was not in my LCMC patient portal, I needed to speak someone in the direct office I had my appt. scheduled for, but there was no way to be connected directly to the office. When I felt my question did not fit any of the recorded numbers to press to get info, recording instructed me to stay on line to talk to a representative. It was 9 minutes on hold before someone answered, to only realize I was connected to scheduling. If I needed scheduling, I would have selected the number for scheduling in the beginning. Needless to say, she couldn't answer my question and informed me there was no way to direct my call to the office I was scheduled for, when I requested. My question would have decided if I needed to keep my appt. or reschedule, so I had to leave work and go to office for my appt. time to find out if I could keep my appt. This office charges for "no-shows" or cancellations within so much time of the appt. There should be a way to speak to someone in office that knows how the office is handled. It all worked out in the end and I was able to keep my appt., thank goodness. I am a nurse and usually know how to get around things. I was so frustrated by the time I reached the office. Imagine a patient with no medical background or experience with doctor office visits, trying to get a question answered or get in touch with someone in the office. I don't know if there is a solution to this problem, but just wanted to advocate for other patients who may need assistance from someone other than "the call center".
